Tata Xover to hit the roads by 2010

Tata Xover is all set to hit the Indian roads by first half of 2010. Tata Motors Limited will showcase the much-awaited crossover vehicle Xover at the Indian Auto Expo in New Delhi this January.

Tata Xover is a sports utility vehicle (SUV) with seven seats and has three rows for passengers. Tata Xover was first displayed in 2005 at Geneva Auto Expo. The SUV is expected to be priced Rs 6-8 lakhs. 

Tata Xover has Large interior space with Climate control with personalized zones, Navigation System, Anti-lock braking system. This seven-seater vehicle will sport a new generation engine with a range of Euro IV, V. The Xover is created with extensive design inputs from London-based Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC).

The crossover car will give a tough competition to the formidable rivals in the form of Toyata Innova, Mahindra Xylo and Tavera, all of which have established market in India.
