Royal Enfield, famous classic bike maker launches two new bikes in Delhi on 4th November. It popularly known model ‘Bullet’ has gone for its first major makeover in 54 years. 

The famous bike maker of Bullet is targeting the new generation by bringing same old style with latest technologies such as unit-construction engine (UCE) and electronic fuel injection (EFI). 

The Bullet Classic 350 will come fitted with the same engine that was seen on the Thunderbird TwinSpark, with unit construction and a carburetor. Accompanying it will be the Bullet Classic 500, which will come fitted with RE's internationally available 500cc fuel-injected unit construction engine.

The Royal Enfield Classic 500 is priced at Rs 1.24 lakh and the Classic 350 at Rs 98,086. The Classic 500 was unveiled at the Cologne international bike show in October last year and it was received with great fanfare.

Eicher Motors Group company  said on Wednesday it will invest more than Rs 65 crore in order to double its manufacturing capacity from the present 50,000 units to one lakh units over the next three years, with the plans to increase exports by three-fold to 15 per cent.

Siddhartha Lal, MD and CEO, Eicher Motors, the parent company of the iconic motorbike that has been around since 1932 said that, “This is the coming of age of the Royal Enfield motorcycles”.
