Nokia launches the much awaited Nokia 6600i Slide which was released worldwide in May. Nokia 6600i Slide is a compact and stylish phone equipped with 8x zoom, double flash and auto focus and the phone is available at approximately Rs. 14000 in India.

The new slider phone comes two colors viz. black and silve

The newly launched slider phone is equipped with 2.2 inch color TFT screen, a 5 mega pixel camera along double LED flash and auto focus with an 8X zoom and it also comes with an internal memory of 20 MB expandable upto 16GB. It provides support functions for 3G, EDGE, and GPRS.

The other features include XHTML browser, OMA DRM 1.0 and 2.0, in terms of internet service and Java MIDP 2.0. These services enable users to share images as well as videos. Nokia maps exist to help users navigate through new and unfamiliar places.

The phone is equipped with other features like stereo music player, which supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA, plus FM Radio in stereo headset.

Nokia 6600i Side phone offers WCDMA 850/2100, GSM/EGSM quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 support, based on the series 40 platform. 2.0 Bluetooth connectivity as well as Micro USB connectivity which make up the other features.

Users can easily manage calls and alerts with the accelerometer that offers tap commands.
