Pantech to launch its Qwerty messaging phone ‘Impact’ in the US

Pantech announced the launch of its Qwerty messaging phone ‘Impact’ in the united States through AT&T.

The brand-new phone is especially designed for the young generation that utilizes the keitai functions of phone, net book, handheld game console frequently as part of daily life, adopting a 2.6-inch WQVGA wide screen and Qwerty keyboard.

It is also equipped with a full touch pad to provide a tactile vibrating sensation on the front panel, dding on practical use and refinement. Impact also lets users play and control music, make a call, or send texts without ever having to open the phone.

‘Impact’ comes in many futuristic functions appealing to the trendiest young generations by adopting extremely small-sized screen (106.5x51.8x17.7mm) and metal texture. The touch keypads and mirror coating on the front are added to the flawless future-oriented design.

The Pantech handset debuts in two cool colors - soft pink and bright blue – and the lattice pattern on the frame is to give the oriental mystic touch.

Other features included threaded SMS support, enhancing the messaging features. If you text someone and they reply, it keeps the messages like a conversation, like the messaging service offered by MS Messenger or Twitter.

It also offers AGPS function whereby AT&T Navigator provides video-guided, turn-by-turn directions in real time, Video Share function that allows customers to use their phones to share live video and audio of the moments in their lives, and external Micro SD card slot and more.
