The 15,000 km country-wide Nano Superdrive reached Delhi today. The Tata Nano Superdrive started at Sanand on June 2, 2010, to celebrate the inauguration of the Tata Nano’s new plant.

The‘Superdrive’ branded Tata Nanos were absolute traffic-stoppers as they visited prominent landmarks like Qutab Minar, Jain Mandir and Safdarganj Tomb in the city. Citizens at these landmarks greeted the people’s car with immense excitement. Shoppers at the Ambience mall enjoyed an up-close experience with the Nano and its unique features, besides games related to the car.

A celebration ceremony at Hyatt Regency for Nano owners in the city was organised to celebrate the car’s first year.

The Nano Superdrive is testament to the Nano’s robustness and reliability.  The Nano Superdrive will leave the city tomorrow with a flag off ceremony, at the company’s dealership, A-One, and will proceed to the next destination, Meerut. The drive will touch 6 cities and, after a month, will conclude in Mumbai on June 28, 2010.
