Acer introduces ‘Aspire Timeline X’ series notebook

Acer, World’s second largest PC brand, along with Intel announced the launch of its “Aspire Timeline X” series notebook; based on the Intel(R) Core Processors platform, powering the notebook with three different processor i3, i5, i7.

Acer further expands its range in the line of notebooks with the new entrant, Aspire Timeline X – the technology is further strengthened and enhanced from the existing Aspire Timeline series which is thin, light and consumes bare minimum energy. Acer has further powered and vitalized the performance of the Aspire Timeline X with exclusive features and entrenched with path breaking technology.

“Acer is always known to break barriers on the technology front.  The launch of the Aspire TimelineX will help us consolidate our market position. The new ATS series is an upgraded version of the previous model, powered with additional features and aims to strike a balance between computer lightness and battery life with an ultra thin, ultra light notebook series which promises all-day computing,” said S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India.

Under this category Acer has launched a series of notebook which include models 3820 TG, 4820 TG and 5820 TG. These notebooks are designed with high technical specifications enabling the user to enjoy all day computing and concurrently benefit high-definition graphics with plenty of processing power for extreme multitasking. The latest wireless technology is also an embedded feature in these notebooks for staying in constant contact.

Product Features
The improvised version in the Aspire Timeline X series has several exciting features like  8+ hrs battery life, with ultra-thin-light mobility and no-compromise performance with high-definition graphics, additional processing power for extreme multitasking. The notebook is built with an ultra sleek model of 22mm thin and weighs 1.80 kgs that would make it is as light as 1.8 L bottle of water. With the modern mobility scenario Aspire Timeline X provides the ultimate experience in terms of battery power and portability making it feasible for consumers, students and professionals who are on the move all day. The ultra-thin and light design is easy to carry and store.

To improve efficiency and ensure better performance the DDR3 memory offers twice the speed of DDR2. The Timeline X series allows the user to opt for a processor of their choice – Intel i3, i5, i7 processor. The entire line of TimelineX notebooks is implanted with Windows 7 Home Premium for maximum productivity.

Acer Timeline X series power saving techniques assures  more than 8 hours of battery life with enhanced 6 cell battery to support the all day computing requirement. The products comes with additional features like Acer PowerSmart adapter which helps in saving 66% of power in sleep mode and the LED – backlit wide screen combined with Intel Display Power Saving which reduces the power consumption upto 33 % and enables a high definition image quality. The automatic adjustments option maximizes performance and reduces the display colour and brightness making it more power efficient. These features help in saving power and extending the battery life of the notebook.

The Timeline X series is also enabled with High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) feature allowing the user to experience superior quality on a full range of peripherals; users can view HD videos, movies and other applications that require such high graphic configuration at ease. The notebook also comes with additional features like a Bluetooth 3.0+HS, 3G network built-in WWAN capability, Wi-Fi certified to ensure speedy internet connection.
