Yamaha India July 2010 sales grow 30.3 %
Yamaha India sold 29,728 units in July 2010 as against 22,807 units sold in July 2009. In domestic markets, the company sold 22, 899 units in July 2010 as compared to 17, 316 units in the same month last year. The export figures stood at 6,829 units in July 2010 while 5,491 units were exported in July 2009.
Honda Siel Cars sells 4,685 units in July 2010
Honda Siel Cars India Ltd, leading manufacturer of Premium Cars in India reported sales of 4,685 units in the month of July’10 as against 4,595 units sold in June’10 translating into a growth of 2%.
Volkswagen July sales at 2597 units
The Volkswagen Iconic New Beetle continued its growth path with customer deliveries reaching at 301 units for the period of Jan-July 2010 and the Touareg at 69 units for the same period.Volkswagen’s entry into the hatchback segment with the New Polo has received an astounding response nationwide. Sales for the New Polo commenced in March 2010 and have so far delivered 6618 units.

Maruti Suzuki India July sales up 29%
Maruti Suzuki’s volume in the domestic market grew by 33.4 per cent. In the A2 segment, the sales grew by 33.2 per cent while in the A3 segment sales were 13.7 per cent higher, as compared to sales in July 2009. The sales growth in the C segment was 86.5 per cent over July 2009.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s July 2010 Sales Grow 36%
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has registered a growth of 36% in sales in July 2010, compared to the same period last year. It sold 6835 units in July 2010 against 5007 units in July last year. A growth of 69 % was recorded for the period January to July 2010, over the same period last year.
GM India’s July 2010 Sales grow 45%
The July 2010 sales comprised 2244 units of the Chevrolet Spark, 1722 units of Chevrolet Beat, 1546 units of the Chevrolet Tavera, 639 units of the Chevrolet Cruze, 375 Units of Chevrolet Aveo, 240 units of Chevrolet Aveo U-VA, 225 units of the Chevrolet Captiva and 133 units of Chevrolet Optra.
Hero Honda registers highest-ever quarterly sales of 1.2mn
Fuelled by its all-time high monthly sales of 4.35 lakh unist (in May) and yet another four-lakh plus sales in June, Hero Honda registered a total turnover (Net Sales & Other Operating income) of Rs 4296.61crores. The company’s turnover was Rs 3829.16 crores in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Ford India sales up 307% at 8,739 units in July
The sales performance also represents an increase of 20 percent compared to June 2010 figures. The July numbers continue a strong 2010 growth surge that has enabled Ford India to achieve total vehicle sales of 46,751 units in the January to July period.
