Reliance Trends opens 150 new stores by 2012

Reliance Trends LogoReliance trends, the fashion apparels and accessories store of Reliance Retail readies to take a long stride by enhancing the number of stores to nearly 150 by March 2012. Currently, there are 35 Reliance trends stores across the country.

Reliance Trends began operations in the year 2008 with a unique aim- to offer the common man quality and fashionable clothing at incredibly low prices. With support from the largest private sector enterprise in India, Reliance Trends has gained accolades and acceptance in the Indian market, over a short period of time.

Reliance Trends has major acceptance in smaller cities and towns of India which are yet to evolve and adapt to urban trends. The growth is in disposable income in the upcoming cities and in their acceptance of modern lifestyle patterns. The Reliance trends thus have an opportunity to establish its brand name and Motivate consistent consumption pattern from these prospective areas.

There are many specialty stores in metros and upcoming cities that are already gaining wide spread acceptance. Thus Reliance trends can now consider expansion of its stores to other parts of the country. It plans to have 58 stores in function by the end of the year. The company currently has 100 vendors across the country and the manufacturing capacity of each vendor would be increased, based on the subsequent demand.
