MTV ventures into print media with Noise factory

MTV Noise Factory Print MagazineMTV is contemplating to move beyond music and television with its foray into print media. Noise factory is MTVs first ever publication launched in November 2010. Priced at Rs. 75, the Noise Factory is available through subscriptions across 23 cities in India.  They are also available at select locations and bookstores like Odyssey and Landmark. Besides, readers may avail the books across local distribution networks in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata amongst others.

A few major contributors to the much awaited magazine include popular author, poet and journalist Jerry Pinto; stand-up comedians Vir Das, Sorabh Pant and Rohan Joshi. Besides, readers will get to read works of VJ turned scribes like VJ Anusha, Jose and Nikhil Chinappa along with other guest contributors.

Noise Factory will also feature columns like 'Audio Files', 'Wired', 'Sasta Rasta', 'Inside Story' and more. The content will range from food reviews, services, books, shopping, phone apps, young art/photography and affordable travel. That is not all; the best on the World Wide Web will grace the pages of the magazine. Besides the regulars, there will be interviews with musicians and bands, information on best of gaming and movies. The monthly are a major highlight as they will allow readers to win branded merchandise.
