-- One of the biggest retailers in Indian ethnic wear, Chhabra 555 Pvt Ltd opened its first ever apparel store today in Bakshinagar, Jammu. Minister of Revenue, relief and rehabilitation, Shri Raman Bhalla inaugurated the store.
With the recent store launch in Bhopal and 23 other stores having been opened pan India this fiscal year, Chhabra 555 now has approximately 50 boutiques in the country. Apart from Delhi / NCR, they have expanded successfully in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Assam, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Uttrakhand and Kashmir over the past one year.
Started as a small saree shop 50 years back, Chhabra 555 Fashion Pvt Ltd has successfully made a mark in the retail industry. The product line includes the whole gamut of Indian ethnic wear for women including sarees, suit dupattas, lehangas and fabrics. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Jagdeep Chhabra, MD Chhabra 555 said, "We entered that belt with our store in Srinagar where we got a brilliant response from the people. We had also offered our customers trips to Vaishno Devi and have been doing a lot of campaigns there as well. With the love and support that we get from the people there, we're very happy that we will be able to serve our customers in a bigger way."

Our aim is to attain 10% market share in all key markets by 2015 by leveraging our established supplier base, strong distribution network and effective accounting mechanisms to spur this growth".
