Ducati India very soon will be opening a dealership in Bangalore. The Ducati dealer will be located at Lavelle road and will display the complete range of Ducati bikes.

The world's most attractive motorcycles are the result of a deep commitment to racing competitions; they are the purest expression of refined skill, unmistakable design and above all, a great passion for bikes. Ducati which represents the essence of Italian style will be opening a dealership on Lavelle Road on May 4, almost a year after the king of the road, Harley Davidson, set up shop on the same road.

It will be the fourth Ducati dealership in India, after the ones in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. In the Bangalore dealership store, the company plans to display 16 models of the bikes including popular Ducati 848, Ducati Monster, Ducati Hypermotard, Ducati Diavel and Ducati Multistrada. The price for the Ducati bikes will range from Rs. 7.95 lakhs for the Monster to Rs. 20.45 lakhs for the Multistradsa MTS 1200T. The company is reported to open 11 more dealerships across India by the next year including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Kolkata.

Meanwhile Ducati  is also planning to open an assembly plant in the India. The company has targeted to sell more than a couple of thousand bikes per year in the country by the year 2014-15. Ducati is the only superbike maker in the country which is offering its entire global bikes range in India as well. The story of the Ducati dream, which began in Bologna in 1926, is recounted at the Ducati Museum.
