Volkswagen Group brands – Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen achieved phenomenal sales figures during the six months period from January to June 2011. With the launch of four new models, Audi A8, Audi R8 Spyder, Audi A7 and the Audi RS 5, Audi delivered 2,802 cars in the said period with 100.1% growth as compared to 1,400 cars during the same period last year. Skoda delivered 14,611 cars in said period with 49.6% growth as compared to 9,765 cars in the same period last year. Volkswagen brand launched the Vento IPL edition and the New Passat with BlueMotion Technologies and delivered 37,678 cars in the said period compared to 6,202 cars in the same period last year.
